Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are actually open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house which has a combined gross family income that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the correct Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or plan to research nsfas application in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
